I'm the person behind SSCC, and I've spent my career helping people and organizations communicate, collaborate, organize, and get stuff done.

My background covers business communications, information and knowledge management, marketing support, operations management, and program and project management.

My goal is to help small businesses like ours to find biz success so we can have a sustainable, thriving life. Prosperity and abundance for us all!

Why is this a quarterly membership (instead of monthly)?
TL;DR: It gives you enough time to familiarize yourself with the membership and start incorporating new info/habits. Plus, the quarterly cadence aligns with how many businesses plan/operate.

For most people, getting serious about business communications and content programming is unfamiliar territory.

By allowing yourself three months to acclimate, you have the chance to really go through the membership's materials and attend events, learn enough to move forward and start developing new skills, and begin to establish some new habits and routines. Without the pressure of having to do this in a single month.

Additionally, many businesses plan on a quarterly basis or chunk out their activities by quarter. And, my goal is to have you work towards creating and maintaining a 90-day rolling content schedule, so you always know what's coming down the pike. So a 3-month term is a natural and seamless fit.

Plus, it give us a chance to get to know each other better so I can support you better.
Is SSCC for me? Even if I'm a beginner/seasoned content creator?
TL;DR: Yes!

We're all communicating, marketing, and selling ALL the time. Whether you think you are or not, you are. So, it behooves you to create your best possible content — to enable you to communicate/market/sell more effectively and efficiently.

Smart Start Content Club can help you do that. You don't have to try to figure it all out by yourself or try to do it solo. SSCC is a place you can find the resources, community, and support you need to make all the content "stuff" you have to do in your biz simpler, easier, faster, better (and hopefully more enjoyable!).

And, even if you have your content game dialed in, it can be incredibly helpful to have a time and place to go get feedback, companionship as you work, see what others are doing and trying. In this case, SSCC, may be less about the knowledge and resources, and more about belonging, motivation and action-taking, exploration and discover, finding joy, and stuff like that. It's alllll good!
How long does it take to see results?
TL;DR: If you use your membership, you'll likely start seeing changes and improvements within your first 3 months.

It's impossible to put an exact number on this bc every business is unique — with different needs, different definitions of "results," different levels of engagement, etc. My goal is for you to feed on a steady diet of small wins, finding incremental-yet-impactful progress on *your* terms.

I expect that you'll notice a broadening of your awareness of holistic business communications and content development very quickly. And this is a gateway to making big strides!

As you gain awareness, you'll be discovering and building skills and systems that support *your* biz and content needs. Again, I expect that if you use your SSCC membership, you'll start seeing results in this area pretty soon.

SSCC is intentionally a quarterly membership. This gives you some runway to explore and experiment. You'll have the time and space to get in and get what *you* need to mover your business forward in a way that's meaningful to you.
What if I can't make it to the live events? (Or don't wanna be on live calls...?) [GROW & GLOW Plans]
TL;DR: Not ideal but not a deal-breaker. The most important thing is that you engage and take action and know that I'm hear to support you. If you can't make the coaching/co-working calls, you can ask questions via email. Also, some live events will have replays you can watch. There are ample other ways to leverage your membership that don't involve showing up live.

You'll have various opportunities to participate live and/or asynchronously (eg, submit your question in advance and I can record a video reply for you to watch whenever). Other events will be fully asynchronous — like Office Hours support days — meaning you can join in on your schedule and I'll respond on mine.

(Also, there are plenty of other non-timebound resources for you to take advantage of — like the resources library and the community.)

For live events, join live when you can. Even if that means you pop in late or drop off early.

And when you can't, you can send me an email with your questions or concerns related to that day's call topic (ie, Strategy & Planning, Creation & Repurposing, or Review & Management) and I'll respond via email/video/etc.

For some events, there will be recorded and have replays you can watch and work along to (for some calls/events).

(PLEASE NOTE: You don't need to turn on your camera/mic during live calls if you don't want to. It's better that you're there kind of observing/chatting, than not at all!)
Is there a free plan? Do you offer a trial?
TL;DR: Yes and no.

Free Plan:

You can join the private community for free. I will occasionally float around an invitation into this group. Otherwise, contact me for access.

Trials:

I can hook you up with a 1-month paid trial opportunity if you'd like!

• It usually costs a little more than the per-month rate of the quarterly membership. So, for example, if you want to try the GROW Plan, which is normally $63/qtr (= $21/mo), your 1-month trial would be something like $27.

• I do sometimes run special offers, like a discounted paid 1-month trial (eg, $21 for a month of GO) or a coupon for signing up for a quarter (eg, 30% off your first quarter of membership).

• Generally speaking, you can only take advantage of a discounted trial or first quarter once. So if you join using a discount, then cancel your membership, and then want to rejoin later — you won't be able to get another sign-up discount. Unless I'm offering some kind of special deal or sale.
